About MobWatch

To give you a rough idea of how MobWatch will work; anyone can join MobWatch and submit a name to be added to the MobWatch database, including the location of the account, such as a Twitter user. Once included in the system, a user can rate and review others based on various elements. They are:

Knowledge In general is the person or business knowledgeable in their chosen field?
Skill Is the person skilled, either in general or in their specific field?
Leadership Is the company or person a leader, or a follower?
Vision Do they have a vision they are professing or not?
Desire Are they passionate about their goals, intents, in general or specifically?
Emotion Do they evoke emotion or are they too cold?
Finance Are they good with money, well financed, or a complete financial black hole?
Social Ability Is the company good with people, or is the person good with others?
Environment Are they good for the environment or do they enjoy pouring oil down a sink?
Altruism Is the person or business giving without the need to be compensated?

Combined, these various elements form an overall rating, and combined, create a picture of the person. Their online reputation starts to form a picture. Over time, a person can have multiple accounts linked to one MobWatch profile, and can be given access to their posted information within a page. The person will be able to edit the information, but not the rating or comments from others. The person will also not be able to delete comments; although they can request them to be removed if threatening or illegal [libel, slander, defamation].

An elaboration of the various ethereal character traits is on the way, as well as a lot of data being imported into the system. With 10 character traits for people to vote on, and each one being important to constructing the over all impression of a persons reputation, I want to encourage anyone who rates a person, company, or soon, service to be as descriptive as possible.

MobWatch.com is a reputation manager that allows anyone to submit a link to an online personality profile. Once in place, anyone can comment on the merit of a persons actions anywhere on the net or in real space. Eventually, the best of the best, and the worst of the worst will float to their respective locations. In this way, the good, the bad, and the ugly can be discovered anywhere they might be.

Stay Tuned.
